A Danube-floodplain commune with documents that were hard to find
Bordușani is a commune in the south-east of Ialomița county, on the left bank of the Borcea branch of the Danube, 14 kilometres from Fetești. It is made up of the villages of Bordușani and Cegani and had 4,414 residents at the 2021 census.
What people look for on a town hall website is fairly predictable: a local council decision, a mayoral order, an environmental notice, a tax to pay. The new site is built around those searches, not around the org chart.
Services before any introduction
Right under the opening image sit the shortcuts to the local council decisions, the Local Official Gazette, tax payments through Ghișeul.ro and appointments at Hub MAI. Further down come the services for residents: the citizen account, online forms, complaints, request tracking, audiences with the mayor and ID appointments.
Recent notices appear on the home page with their full title, because at a town hall the title is the information: which project, which stage, which institution issued the decision.

Investments, with their real status
The commune's projects have their own section, each with a status label: the sewage network extension in both villages (completed, with the local budget contribution shown), the paving of 13 streets in Bordușani and Cegani, and the second stage of the street-lighting upgrade (in progress).
For the details, the section points to the official documents in the Local Official Gazette instead of repeating figures that can change.

What is finished, what is under way and where the documents are, on the same page.
Updated by the town hall
The town hall publishes its own notices from the site's admin panel, without waiting on an outside supplier for each one.
The site meets WCAG AA contrast, works fully from the keyboard, has a skip-to-content link and a dedicated accessibility button, plus a survey where residents can say which services they would like online.
