A site for the hardest phone call
Constatare Deces is a conversion site for a funeral services company in Bucharest and Ilfov. The people who land on it aren't comparing offers over coffee: they lost someone within the last hour, they're exhausted and frightened, and they're searching on their phone for someone who will take care of everything.
That changes the rules completely. Animations don't matter, and neither do long texts about tradition. What matters is that the phone number is a thumb away on every screen, that people learn in seconds what to do next, and that the tone is calm rather than salesy.

Conversion before anything else
Call, WhatsApp and the contact form are always reachable: a fixed bar on mobile, floating buttons on desktop and a clear prompt in every section. The first section speaks directly to what's happening right now — "Someone has just passed away? Breathe. We're here." — and lists the few documents worth having at hand, with the firm obtaining the rest.
The process is laid out in four simple steps, from the first call to the complete funeral, because someone in mourning needs to know they don't have to handle anything alone.

Packages with prices stated openly
In funeral services, price is usually the topic nobody wants to bring up. The site does the opposite: packages are shown with what they include, what they cost and how the state death benefit covers the cost, with the firm preparing and filing the claim itself.
That openness works two ways: it reassures the family, who can see there won't be surprises, and it qualifies the calls, because whoever phones already knows what to expect.

Built to be measured
The site was designed for Google Ads campaigns from the start, so measurement isn't an afterthought. It runs GA4 and Google Ads with Consent Mode v2 for GDPR, enhanced conversions, a value on every conversion, deduplication and click-ID capture for offline conversion import — meaning calls that turn into contracts can be tied back to the campaign that brought them.
For organic search, the site has dedicated pages for each area of Bucharest and Ilfov, service pages, practical guides and full structured data: FuneralHome, Organization, Service, FAQ, Offer and Breadcrumb.
Trust, without design theatrics
The design uses deep navy, brass and cream with a classic serif for headings: sober without feeling cold. The firm's Google reviews are brought straight onto the page, because at a moment like this people trust other people, not a company's promises.
