A phone call on the hardest day
Iuliana Funerar is a Satu Mare company that brings home people who died abroad. It has been working for more than 31 years and has carried out over 4,400 repatriations from across Europe in the last 17, with paperwork, coffin and refrigerated transport included.
Whoever lands on the site is usually a family far from home, in shock, searching on a phone for a repatriation from Italy or Germany. The site had to answer three questions in the first seconds: can you help me now, what do you need from me, and do I have to pay anything first.
Wherever they are
The home page puts the round-the-clock phone number, WhatsApp and the quote request first, followed by the five steps of a repatriation written from the family's side: you call, we handle the paperwork, the preparation and coffin, the transport and the handover.
Each of the 18 countries the company repatriates from has its own page, because that is how people search: by the country where the death happened.

Trust, without effects
In a field like this, the design must not draw attention to itself. We worked with warm tones, calm typography and real photos of the team and the vehicle, plus the public-health authorisation and the Google reviews, shown as they are.
Every text speaks directly to the family and says plainly what the service covers: the death certificate, preparation and embalming, the coffin, paperwork and customs, coordination with insurers and embassies, personal belongings.

Within seconds the family has to learn that they can call now and that no money is asked upfront.
Quote requests land straight in WhatsApp
The quote form doesn't feed an inbox checked now and then. It opens WhatsApp with the message already filled in from what the family typed, and sends the same request by email in parallel.
The site also has a blog with guides for families, such as what to do right after a death abroad.
